Charity Drive with Alternatives for Girls

  • Google Calendar ICS

This winter we are working on providing hygiene kits for the female clients of Alternatives For Girls. Alternatives for Girls helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and helps them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives.

We know during this season, there are many asks and charity requests but we would love it if you would not only assist us in supporting Alternatives For Girls but also help with showing our mentees the importance in giving back. We are excited that Live Cycle Delight has joined on as our official drop off location. So we are encouraging those that are local to visit their fabulous studio (black/female owned), take a class and drop off your charity items! Our TCN mentees will assemble and deliver the kits. It's that simple!

Can't drop off? Donate on our website www.theconnectionnetwork.org and we will do the shopping for you (each kit is $5)!  Please make your contributions by Friday, December 22.
